We are excited to announce the Theme for the Fall 2025 Conference: GIS: The Bridge to Innovation
Similar to how bridges connect people to beautiful Cape Cod, our GIS community knows first-hand how GIS brings people and technology together with forward thinking and innovation.
While we are accepting abstract submissions on any topic, we are also looking for submissions that can speak to the amazing local work taking place on Cape Cod and the Islands.
Please consider submitting an abstract on any of the specific topics presented below:
All attendees, including private sector attendees and vendors, are invited and welcome to submit presentations or workshops describing a project, research, process, experience, expertise, management, or best practices related to GIS.
While we are accepting abstract submissions on any topic, we are also looking for submissions that can speak to the amazing local work taking place on Cape Cod and the Islands.

- Coastal or Climate resiliency
- Climate change
- Coastal processes and erosion
- Habitat changes
- Coastal Community Planning
- Coastal Asset Management

Important Reminders
- The presentation must be product-neutral and cannot market specific products and/or services.
- Presenters are required to register and pay to attend the conference at the applicable rates.
- Review the presenter guidelines for additional information.
Presentation Formats
- Lightning Talk - 5 minutes
- Short Oral Presentation - 30 minutes (25 minutes presenting, 5 Q&A)
- Hands-On Workshop - 90 minutes
- Panel Presentation - 90 minutes
- Poster - Printed or Digital, plus strongly encouraged lightning presentation! ("poster" can mean any of the following formats: PDF, Story Map, Dashboard, Web Apps, Hub Site, etc.) Poster presenters may be asked to give a 3-5 minute lighting talk.
- Longer Oral Presentation - 60 minutes (50 minutes presenting, 10 Q&A) (Limited Timeslots)
