Please consider sharing your experience and interesting projects with the rest of the NEARC community. We are soliciting posters, panel discussion sessions, presentations and new this year, 5 min. lightning talks. Sign up for presenting a poster, 5 min. lightning talk, 20-30 min. presentations, or 45-60 min. presentations/panel discussions/workshops. If you have a great idea, new technique or a great project, please share your experience with the rest of us and register your proposal at www.amherst.edu/~aanderson/nearc/.
Deadline for proposals is Friday, April 9, 2010. |
DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR GPS UNIT!
The 3rd Annual Spring NEARC GPS Muster be held on the sprawling lawn behind Campus Center. Precision has increased each year so claiming the Muster Champion title (and a $50 check from NEARC) will require your best GPSing skills. Coordinates and real-time correction details will be made available on the NEARC website.
DIGITAL SUBMISSIONS
Again this year we are trying to collect presentations at the end of the day to post them on the NEARC website at www.northeastarc.org. So please make them available as a digital file so we can collect them after your presentation and share them with those that are not fortunate enough to join us at Smith College. Come ignite our Lightning Lunch With your thought-provoking Lightning Talk
Don’t want to spend the time preparing a big presentation, but you have a great idea that you want to share, a thought you want to put out there, or do you just want to stir the pot? This year, Spring NEARC is going to include a Lightning Lunch featuring a series of interesting and thought provoking 5 minute presentations while people are gathered together for our long lunch break. So consider this new opportunity to share your ideas! |
