Abstract: As the Vermont National Hydrography Data (NHD) Steward, VCGI, in partnership with private, non-profit, local, state and federal stakeholders, is creating a prototype map-centric web form to elicit feedback from users of VT NHD data. The goal is to provide stakeholders with a clear, readily accessible and easy-to-use web interface that facilitates user feedback for maintenance and update on both the geometry and attribution of local and high-resolution data. This effort is in support of the United States Geological Survey (USGS) stewardship program goals to improve, maintain and enrich both the positional and attribute accuracy of hydrographic data stored in the NHD. Time permitting, recently completed NHD data development efforts in Vermont may also be discussed, e.g., development of Hydrographic Category (perennial vs. intermittent) and the Value Added Attributes.
