Abstract
DiscoverCast is a software company that has created revolutionary technology and products for delivering live, collaborative Web-based GIS applications. The patent-pending technology enables rich content synchronization and instant 2-way interactivity over very low bandwidth connections, and can communicate securely through corporate firewalls. DiscoverCast has tightly integrated this technology to run in conjunction with ArcIMS and enable the static maps generated by ArcIMS to become highly interactive, dynamic and collaborative. Interactive maps with object tracking and collaborative white boarding features can now be built to allow users to jointly illustrate directions and query live, location based data.

With our software ArcIMS can serve dynamic maps that include;

· real-time movable objects for live tracking applications

· multi-user mark-up capability

· live editing and collaborative edit notes

· lightweight map viewing in either Java, Shockwave or Flash

· user defined, live spatial and temporal analysis

· support for very large numbers of simultaneous users
