| Abstract: | The Town of Amherst, UMass Amherst and Amherst College, with assistance from Infotech Enterprises America, are developing a new 1”=40’ scale base map that includes the acquisition of color and color infrared (CIR) imagery to produce 3” orthophotos, capture of detailed planimetric features from that imagery, and the acquisition and processing of LiDAR data to assist in the development of new 1’ contour data. This presentation will provide a more detailed look into the project, focusing upon the LiDAR component of the project. |
