| Abstract: | There has been a convergence of business pressures to develop or optimize sustainable business practices. Environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs have moved beyond compliance to becoming an integral part of sustainable business practices. This includes the need to acquire and manage information related to greenhouse gases, energy purchasing and usage, water, recycling and waste minimization, environmental compliance and hazardous chemicals/materials. This session will focus on the technologies and tools that are available to meet these specific information needs. The technologies to be discussed will describe the integration of FM technology, GIS, the use of robotics for data collection, and EHS management tools that create enterprise-wide, web-based solutions that are scaled and personalized to meet the individual needs of an organization. |
