| Abstract: | In November of 2007, Fountains Spatial and Waypoint Technology were contracted to provide GIS and GPS training in the former Serbian province of Kosovo. This presentation will cover the background behind this project, work performed, challenges encountered, and experiences gained. Plenty of slides will be shown, along with a limited amount of instruction on the local language (Albanian). So did this really have an impact on Kosovo's recent declaration of independence?
