ESRI Post NEARC Training immediately following this year’s NEARC Conference in Burlington, VT.
Training Details
Training will be held on Thursday and Friday, November 8-9, at the Courtyard Burlington Harbor Hotel at 25 Cherry St., just across the street from the Hilton. The Hilton Hotel has agreed to extend NEARC Conference room rates Wed and Thurs nights to conference attendees staying for training.
Introduction to the Multiuser Geodatabase

This class is designed for ArcGIS Desktop users working with or migrating to a multiuser (SDE) geodatabase. Students learn how to:
  • Describe advantages of working with a multiuser geodatabase (SDE)
  • Understand the difference between personal, workgroup, and enterprise geodatabases
  • Understand basic ArcSDE and RDBMS software architecture
  • Create and manage personal and workgroup geodatabases
  • Understand properties of connections
  • Examine vector and raster data in a multiuser geodatabase
  • Edit data stored in a multiuser geodatabase
  • Understand fundamental concepts of versioning workflow procedures
  • Perform one-way geodatabase replication for editing
  • Optimize the performance of client applications
How to register
To register, simply fill out and fax in a registration application form. (This class is not yet listed on the ESRI web site, but it will be soon.)
Cost
Post-NEARC training typically fills quickly, so please register early to reserve your seat. Standard pricing is $950 per student. A 10% discount is being offered to all students.
