Authors: Justin D. Richardson & Anna R. Verrill
Date/Time Tuesday, November 6 ~ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Abstract: A growing number of engineering firms are specializing in GIS. Not only do they specialize in GIS development and implementation, they are also finding new ways to utilize the power of GIS as a tool to help make better decisions for planning and studies. The presentation will review the data analysis methods, data sources and data development used for each project. This session will explain how GIS played an essential role in several Wright-Pierce engineering projects including:
  • Water and Wastewater Master Plans
  • Nutrient Studies for Wastewater Effluent
  • Source Water Protection Studies
  • Infrastructure Mapping
  • State and Federal Regulation Compliance
