This session will focus on introducing the desktop environment to new users or those interested in an overview of the software. Time will also be spent discussing the contents of the ESRI Data & Maps media kit and online sources for data that can be used in ArcGIS Desktop. Highlights will include an overview of ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcGlobe, and introduce functions and concepts used by the typical ArcGIS user. Time permitting, an overview of upcoming features will be presented. Recommended for new users. |
