| Abstract: | We describe our experience using the WebADF to build a prototype crime analysis application funded by a National Science Foundation. A general overview of the WebADF will be given with introductionary material to how to 'web-enable' spatial information. Then we will move beyond creating the 'default' application and discuss customization and adopting the WebADF to specific needs of the application. Some of the challenges particular to the WebADF and this project will be discussed. Finally we will wrap up with a discussion of the architecture of WebADF enabled software and the various ways this can be approached. |
