Abstract: Assessing Offices are only recently discovering the benefits of utilizing GIS in their daily functions. These processes can range from something as simple as symbolization to the very complex use of geographic location as a term in a regression equation. This presentation will provide some suggestions for the utilization of GIS to make any Assessor's Office more efficient. Topics to be discussed will include sales plotting, land use mapping, neighborhood symbolization and using location as part of regression.
